WHO WE ARE


ODB is a 501(c) humanitarian aid organization led by a 62 years-old monk, Ashin Zawana who was in the prison for 16 years due to political reasons. He has been (financially) helping family members of National League for Democracy since the military illegally arrested and detained the members. He was tortured by warden during his political arrest and currently receiving medical treatments in the U.S. He would like to see peaceful and liberated Myanmar before he deceases.

ODB ကတော့ အမေရိကားမှာ 501(c) မှတ်ပုံတင်ရရှိထားတဲ့ ဘုန်းဘုန်းအရှင်ဇဝန (မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရေးကြောင့် ထောင်တွင်း ၁၆နှစ်ကြာ ထိန်းသိမ်းခံရတဲ့ ဘုန်းဘုန်း) ဦးဆောင်နေတဲ့ လူမှူကယ်ဆယ်ရေး အဖွဲ့အစည်းတခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ဘုန်းဘုန်းဟာဆိုရင် စစ်တပ်မှ မတရား ဖမ်းစည်းချုပ်နှောင်ခြင်း ခံရတဲ့ Nationl League of Democracy (NLD) အဖွဲ့အစည်းမှ မိသားစုဝင်များကိုလည်း ကူညီပေးနေသူဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဘုန်းဘုန်းဟာ နိုင်ငံရေးကြောင့် ထောင်တွင်းမှာ ထောင်မှူးများရဲ့ နှိပ်စက်မှုကို ခံခဲ့ရသဖြင့် လက်ရှိ အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စုမှာ ဆေးဝါးကုသမှုခံယူနေဆဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဘုန်းဘုန်း ရှိနေစဉ်အချိန်မှာပဲ ငြိမ်းချမ်း လွတ်လပ်တဲ့ မြန်မာ ပြည်ထောင်စုကို မြင်တွေ့သွားချင်ပါတယ်။
